Learn to tie your shoelaces

2014-03-06

Even in this day and age of velcro, kids should learn how to tie their shoelaces. You can use a real shoe for that, but depending to what extent that shoe was in use before, this can get a bit messy.

I have created a little learning tool for my kids: It’s basically a flat paper shoe with eyelets to thread laces through:

This one is very easy to make: All you have to do is print the template, cut out the shoe and the two sides, punch or cut the eyelets, glue the sides to the shoe, and you are done.

  1. Leanne,

I am a retired teacher who volunteers in a kindergarten. I plan to make some of these to use there. Thank you.
